Digital storage for what you eat. Snap or type a meal, see the estimate, and keep the record.
What V-Scout is. A meal record built for Singapore food. Every meal you snap or type is estimated, then stored in your own history, so the record of what you ate is always there to look back on or download.
Photograph your plate, a packet or a nutrition label, or just type the dish, such as "kopi c kosong peng" or "half portion char kway teow".
Your priority value first (carbs, unless you choose another), then calories, protein, fibre, fat and sodium, each shown as an honest range, because portions vary.
Adjust the portion or the share you ate, save the meal, and see your day and month at a glance. Download your log any time.

Counting carbs is not easy. For people living with a medical condition such as diabetes, it is often part of every meal, together with an insulin-to-carb ratio set with their doctor. One of our own team lives with diabetes and counts carbs at every meal. AI chat apps can read a photo of a meal, but the answer is gone once the chat ends: there is no food log and no diary to look back on.
V-Scout keeps that record. Every meal you snap or type is estimated and saved in your own history. Our aim is to bring data from different storage sources together: if you choose, V-Scout shows your meals next to the entries already in your Apple Health, such as readings and doses logged by your other apps, in one timeline.
We take the data and present it. We do not diagnose, analyse, judge, score or advise, and V-Scout does not calculate insulin doses or carb ratios. You see your own day and decide, with your doctor, what works best for you.
Everyone manages their wellbeing differently, even when their goals are the same. V-Scout brings the information together and presents it clearly, as digital storage for the people who need it.
One plate of cai fan, from photo to saved meal, then the day and the week, and asking before you order. Real screens from the app.

V-Scout reads the plate and marks each part it can see.

Carbs lead by default, about 85 g for this plate. Set any of the six values (carbs, calories, protein, fibre, fat or sodium) as your priority and V-Scout leads with that one instead. It only estimates what it can see in the photo and does not invent the rest. If it reads a part wrong, as here where part 1.2 is actually a fried fish cutlet, not tofu, tap Edit and correct it. Tap ¼, ½ or 1 for how much you had and the totals update.

Each nutrient against its daily guide, and a week of meals on one chart.

Not sure what to eat? Ask V-Scout in plain words, or send a photo, and see the options side by side. You decide.
Hawker plates, kopitiam breakfasts, supermarket packs and favourite restaurants.
Chat with V-Scout to compare options in plain words before you order.
A sensible range, not a fake exact number.
No scores, no streaks, no good or bad food. We give you the information; you decide how to manage your wellbeing. Your meals stay in your own account.
From chicken rice to kueh, V-Scout knows hawker plates, kopitiam breakfasts and supermarket packs, with local portion sizes, so you know the values that matter for managing your wellbeing.
Do you check your blood glucose with a finger-prick meter or a sensor, and keep your readings in Apple Health (for example through mySugr)? V-Scout can show those entries next to the meals you log, so you see your day in one place.
V-Scout shows your entries exactly as you logged them. It never interprets or judges them and gives no medical advice.
We’re inviting a small group of iPhone users to try it early through Apple TestFlight. Fill in the form and WhatsApp it to us. We’ll send you an invite.
V-Scout is a general wellness and food record app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. Values are estimates.
